Our latest vintages: 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon
and 2022 Chardonnay

Our collection

Kashuba Cabernet Sauvignon :

This is a bright and elegant wine, rather tight, angular, austere, and
restrained. Clear black cherry in color, it presents as a fruit forward dry wine,
light and fresh, with sturdy grippy tannins with gorgeous Sonoma Mountain cabernet aromatics including anise, clove, and currant.

Kashuba Chardonnay :

Our Chardonnay is made with grapes from Johnson Family Ranch, Mendocino, CA.

Wine has been with us for generations . . .

About our vines

With almost a decade of farming and winemaking experience at this site, the vines are starting to reveal themselves. The vineyard yields wonderful small berries on loose clusters – allowing the grape skins to fully ripen and color, flavor, and tannin to thoroughly develop.

Often foggy late into the morning during spring, the summer bursts with sun directly overhead, high heat and vibrant blue skies, and just as fall arrives and the grapes approach final ripeness, the sun gets low on the horizon shading and sheltering the grapes from sunburn.

The net result of these conditions is a wine that is surprisingly bright, fresh, austere, and very food-friendly. It is not a jammy alcoholic fruit bomb. Aging 3-5 years after release realizes the wine’s power.
